Use these applications and forms to apply for financial aid at Ohio Dominican University. If you need assistance or have any questions, please contact the financial aid office.
You may request your tax return transcript from the IRS at www.irs.gov or call 1-800-908-9946.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal Applications may be submitted anytime but no later than the specified date for the semester in which the student plans to enroll. Deadlines for upcoming semesters are listed below.

You can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at: studentaid.gov.
The final deadline to submit verification documents for the 2023-2024 academic year is September 1, 2024 or no later than 120 days after your last date of attendance, whichever is first. If verification is not complete by this date, you will not be eligible for part or all of your financial aid.
Special Circumstances
In some cases, students and their families may have special circumstances that were
not taken into consideration on the FAFSA form.
There are certain circumstances that you should report to the Financial Aid Office
that could have an impact on the amount of financial aid that you are being offered.
The Financial Aid Office is permitted to make adjustments to your FAFSA for certain special circumstances.
Below you will find the forms that you must submit to report these special circumstances. You will be notified by mail once a decision has been made. Allow a minimum of 2 weeks for processing.
Please note that changes made to your FAFSA by our office may or may not result in additional aid.
1) Print and complete the V1 Standard: Verification Worksheet and turn it in along with any additional required documentation.

2) Print and complete the appropriate form(s) in the next section (dependent or independent)
that pertain to your special circumstances.
You must turn in any supporting documents required to verify your special circumstances,
as requested on the form, including a personal statement.
For academic year 2024-2025:
- Loss or reduction of income
- Loss of child support/alimony
- Recent Divorce/Separation/Death of Parent
- Excessive medical or dental expenses not covered by insurance
- Tuition expenses paid for private elementary/high school
- Loss of taxable social security income
- One-Time income distribution
- Recent Disability/Retirement
For academic year 2023-2024:
- Loss or reduction of income
- Loss of child support/alimony
- Recent Divorce/Separation/Death of Parent

- Tuition expenses paid for private elementary/high school/parent in college
