Catholic Promise
Ohio Dominican has partnered with the Diocese of Columbus to create the Columbus Catholic Promise Program. The program provides eligible students who graduate from one of the Columbus Diocese’s 11 high schools with financial resources and support to help make an ODU education attainable.
Additional Scholarships
An endowed scholarship is established with funds received from external donors. It
can be either merit-based or need-based depending on donor preferences.
Students do not apply for these scholarships. The ODU Financial Aid Office matches
qualifying students to these scholarships each year.

Ohio Dominican University offers its Bishop Frederick F. Campbell Diocesan Scholarship to Catholic high school students. To qualify, students must:
- Attend one of the 11 Catholic high schools in the Columbus Diocese.
- Earn a cumulative 3.0 or higher grade point average.
- Meet ODU’s current undergraduate admission standards.
- Pursue full-time enrollment at ODU for the fall semester.
The scholarship is for incoming freshmen only and is renewable for up to four years,
as long as students maintain their good academic standing.
This allows students the possibility of earning up to $4,000 over four years on top
of any additional merit and/or need-based financial aid.
