Residency Requirements
Residence Requirements
At Ohio Dominican, all full-time students are required to live on campus unless they meet certain criteria. Full-time means 12 credit hours or more during the regular school term.
Students must live on campus if they:
- Have completed less than 60 credit hours;
- Are not living with a parent/guardian within 40 miles;
- Are receiving an athletic scholarship, regardless of home address.
ODU requires all student-athletes to live on campus for the entire time their names appear on our athletic rosters while they are receiving athletic aid.
Questions can be directed to the Office of Residence Life at 614-251-4718 or reslife@ohiodominican.edu
All students who have earned less than 60 credits at the beginning of the year but feel they meet the requirements to live with a parent/guardian must complete a Housing Exemption Form to be approved to live off campus.
Students who have already signed a contract, but wish to cancel their contract, must fill out a Request for Release Form whether or not they have moved in. Completion of the Request for Release Form does not guarantee a release from the contract.
