Ohio Dominican University invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends and family to join together on Saturday, Oct. 7 to celebrate the university’s annual Homecoming.

This year’s celebration will feature numerous family friendly events and activities, including a free tailgate prior to the football team’s matchup against Lake Erie College, a special Homecoming Mass, and a special recognition dinner and ceremony to celebrate recipients of this year’s Distinguished Alumni Award as well as reunion class years ending in 3 and 8.

This year’s Distinguished Alumni Award honorees are Mary Smart Callaway (class of 1979), Jay DeLuca (class of 1996), John Kelley (class of 2005) and Lou Staffilino (class of 1973 – posthumous). The Distinguished Alumni Award is given to an alumna or alumnus who has demonstrated a life according to the Ohio Dominican University motto: “To contemplate truth and to share with others the fruits of this contemplation.”

  • 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. | Free Homecoming Tailgate
    Join us outside Panther Stadium for tailgate food, games and fun for all ages – Plus, win some free ODU gear! Be sure to stop by the Alumni Office Tent by Panther Stadium to check in and pick up your free game day tickets (tickets available for alumni only).
  • 1 p.m. | ODU Homecoming Football Game in Panther Stadium
    The ODU Panthers take on the Lake Erie College Storm.
  • 4:30 p.m. | Homecoming Mass in Christ the King Chapel in Sansbury Hall
    Celebrant Fr. Dan Millisor ’81, ODU Chaplain
  • 5:30-8:30 p.m. | 2023 Reunion Celebration and Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony Recognition Reception & Dinner
    Join us in the Bishop James A. Griffin Student Center, rooms 258-260
  • 5:30 p.m. | ODU Men's Soccer vs. Tiffin University in Panther Stadium
  • 6 p.m. | ODU Volleyball vs. Ursuline College in Alumni Hall
