Virginia McCormack is a Professor of Education. She works with diverse students in
all of the Education programs.
She is a certified/licensed P-12 classroom teacher and administrator with experiences
in early childhood, middle childhood, and adult and young adult classrooms in rural,
suburban, and urban locations.
Dr. McCormack has served as chair of Ohio Dominican University's Education Division
and Director of the M.Ed. program. She participates on university committees; has
received several grants for course development, reading and teacher preparation; and
develops curricular programs and endorsements for undergraduate and graduate studies.

Experiences
Dr. McCormack holds a B.S. in Education from St. Bonaventure University; an MS in
Educational Administration from the University of Dayton; an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry
from St. Joseph College; and an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University.
She is a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, the
International Reading Association, Society for Information Technology and Teacher
Education, Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages, the Association for
Middle Level Education and the National Council of Teachers of English.
