Jessica Gregor is an Assistant Professor for Ohio Dominican University's Physician
Assistant Studies program.
After graduating high school in Toledo, Ohio, Jessica joined the United States Air
Force and served as both an enlisted service member and officer over twelve years
of service. During this time, she completed her undergraduate degree at Bowling Green
State University in Applied Health Science and was selected to attend the Uniformed
Services Interservice Physician Assistant Program in 2016. Jessica completed her clinical
year at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and graduated with a Masters
in Physician Assistant Studies in 2019. She was selected for Pi Alpha membership by
her faculty.
After graduation, Jessica worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio,
as a Family Medicine Physician Assistant in the primary care clinic, serving military
dependent and veteran populations within the local community. She also served as a
preceptor for PA students rotating through the primary care clinic and developed a
passion for educating future PAs.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the Air Force in 2022, Jessica worked
in the urgent care setting in Columbus, Ohio before being selected as the Clinical
Coordinator for Ohio Dominican's Anesthesiologist Assistant Studies program in 2023.
During this time, she was also accepted into a doctoral program for Organizational
Leadership at the University of Dayton; she is in her final year of doctoral studies
and her research focus involves formative assessment of student readiness in the clinical
setting.
In her spare time, Jessica enjoys running, watching movies, and reading, especially
nonfiction books on history of any kind. However, most of her free time is spent hanging
out with her two daughters and her amazing husband. Her favorite places in Columbus
include COSI, Franklin Conservatory, and the Gateway Film Center.
